- Booking details, service area, preferred date and concerns you choose to submit.
- Photos and inspection information you upload for photo assessments or shop inspection workflows.

How information is used
We use submitted information to create requested reports or assessments, verify payments, manage package credits, arrange appointments, provide customer support, improve service quality, investigate misuse, and maintain security and business records.
Service providers and data sources
CarRisk uses service providers to operate the website and process transactions. Stripe processes online checkout payments. Vehicle research may query government or public automotive data sources. Information is shared only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure or administer the requested service, or where required by law.
Vehicle and photo information
A VIN can identify a specific vehicle. Damage photos, inspection notes and uploaded records may also contain identifying details. Do not upload documents or images containing personal information that is not needed for the requested CarRisk service.
Retention and security
CarRisk keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and business records, resolve disputes, improve CarRisk workflows, and meet applicable obligations. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but access and payment-related workflows are designed to reduce unnecessary exposure of sensitive information.
Your choices
You can ask a privacy question or request review of personal information associated with your CarRisk interaction by emailing info@carriskcheck.ca. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Children
CarRisk automotive purchasing and vehicle-service tools are intended for adults and are not designed as services for children.
Changes
We may update this policy as CarRisk products, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current published version.
